We have a number of student grants available to cover the registration costs for ECIR 2025, sponsored by SIGIR Friends and ECIR. We’d like to kindly inform you that these grants do not include provisions for travel and accommodation.
The student support grants provide a limited number of stipends to cover the registration fees for students that wish to attend the ECIR 2025 conference in Lucca, but for whom the costs would be prohibitive.
Application Procedure
Applicants for the student grants must be full-time students and should submit their completed application, including a one-page CV (resume). The application form is available here.
Selection Criteria
The selection process will involve a careful evaluation of the materials submitted by applicants. Priority consideration will be given to students that have a paper accepted at the conference with a financial need (Applicants can optionally include a letter from a faculty advisor to explain financial need).
